Hello, My name is BubbaAndLarry.... There is only one of me.
I'm retired military and still fairly young. Over the last year, I have spent more time playing around with the internals (mostly software) of my computer with 0 experiance. I have learned a few things... Don't touch registry editor, don't touch group policy, don't touch firewall, etc.... unless you know what it is specifally what your doing... learned it several times now with fresh installs of windows...
Lately, i have been obsessed with privacy and performance *scripts- cmd, bat, ps1,..etc. 2 weeks ago, after a fresh install, they took away my power plans, my group policy admin templates, nvidea control panel settings...etc.
I joined here to watch and learn. Soon, I want to be able to have a device that is bloatware free, as private as I can get, and high performing (i do 3d artwork.. not gaming).
I did manage to get back high performance power plan thanks to you here in this forum. I need to get back a few more.
Thank you all for the tutorials, scripts, etc, that you give out here.. Some are good, some bad... but thanks for taking the time P.S.... I'm going to learn how to wright my own
Welcome, BubbaAndLarry. Sounds like you've learned some basics. good common sense, so far. Plenty of knowledgeable members here to teach/guide you thru most anything Windows. Enjoy!
