Hello everyone and good morning, I just joined because I was hoping to receive input as to resolving the issues, problems, and conflicts that seem to always pop up or present themselves to me and how I was relating my windows 10 desktop all-in-one PC. Over the last 2 years, I have become somewhat frustrated and let things just be without understanding, the foundation for the changes I see in how my PC operates. I believe I have become complacent just not car4ing for an explanation of why changes keep happening that make it difficult to keep in tune with my PC. Hopefully, with the help of people on this site and interacting with the forums I can get some understanding of the important changes that I need to understand how to fix it since it lowers my PC's ability to support me and me to support it if there is no explanation or my reasons of the effects it has on my ability to keep wanting to use it. It's services, apps, programs, software, and hardware become antiquated and obsolete. my reaction is to forget what was and figure out how to get the same results, which never works out. so wish me luck and our journey will be one in which we aspire to grow and achieve. Thanks DjMendy
Welcome to TenForums, and good luck, DJMendy.

Hello from me too. I've been using Windows 10 since its start, but I took a peculiar trip through Microsoft OSes. I went from 95 to XP and then straight to 10, bypassing all versions between those 3. I had no need to jump from one version to the next, since whatever version I used served its purpose admirably and I had no problem. Linux OSes are another tale to tell.

I switched to 10 mainly because I upgraded my hardware too, moving from a rather "work-related" machine to 2 gaming rigs, one laptop I use as a docking station for work and gaming, and a "beast" PC I use for gaming.

I've actually never had any serious OS problems, just uncomfortable and finicky situations with software and hardware. I hope that stays as long as I use a PC.

I'm writing from my tablet because my laptop won't start. This morning I got a message saying there were updated and the computer needed rebooting. That normally takes just a few seconds so I clicked on restart. That was 3 hours ago and it is still trying to restart. The screen is blue, it says Restarting, the 6 balls are spinning, I could booted it a few times even waiting 10 - 15 minutes to push start, and it still stuck on restarting. Help.

It's a cheap to laptop less than a year old, running Windows 10.

    Intro

    Hi everyone!

My name is Ellen McNeill. I coach business professionals to help them make goal achievement their Superpower. Love what I do. It gives me personal satisfaction and allows me to make a difference in the world.

I'm married to my awesome husband for close to 33 years. Live in Fletcher, NC which is about 30 miles south of Asheville, NC (a city you may have heard about).

Our home is on a mountain with beautiful views. Have been here for over 20 years. Peaceful living which is very important to my husband and I.

I'm a transplant from Tampa, Florida and originally from Brooklyn, New York.

Fortunately my coaching business lends itself to being home so I'm dealing with the COVID crisis quite well.

You can read more about me if you like in my forum bio.

    Hope everyone is staying healthy.

Hi everyone, I signed up because I was searching Google for a problem and came to this post BSOD when removing external drive which was strange because it is the same exact issue! I subscribed to notifications for it :)

I am currently taking the Google IT support class at Coursera through my local community college (so maybe I'll be helpful someday here too)! Anyways glad to be here!
