Hello. My name is Ted B I'm 83. I started in computers back in the 60's and have always had a computer. I got most of my knowledge from hands on and some schooling. I learned enough to get in a lot of trouble but always got myself out. I live in a retirement village and there are not very many people to get information from. I use YouTube a lot but don't always find what I need. I would like to tap the resources of this site to help me get myself out of trouble. I haven't tried to resolve my touchpad issue here, but on my own I did find a short cut to resolve the issue.
Thank you for excepting me into your community.

Greetings and salutations. I'm a "seasoned citizen" who postponed going to Win 10 until I absolutely had to. If a few 3rd party apps that are important to me still supported Win 7, I'd still be there. I've run into an issue with Win 10 (imagine that!) I want to get resolved without having to go to MS so I thought I'd give you all (or y'all) a look. May this be an enlightening experience for everyone.
Welcome to Ten Forums.

I had to do a repair install of Windows 10, plus a reinstallation of some of the programs I also use. To make a long story short, I survived this massive headache with the help of tutorials here, and help from other forum members. I admit I have a...
