I'm glad it's fixed. Windows 10 is very resistant to elevated actions taking place at startup [as a protection against malware]. That's why TS resisted being told to run it at startup rather than login.

Does your NumLock now survive that vbs script [after your exe has been run]?
    - I'm thinking of both the NumLock action and any NumLock indicator that your computer might have.

OK. I'm glad it's working for you. [I would have used SharpKeys instead but that would have been a permanent change so, unlike your solution, it could not be ended at will.]

Yes, TenForums is a great forum. I no longer bother with any others.

Do take a look at the TenForums tutorial index. It's a goldmine.
    - At the bottom of the tutorial index webpage, there's a link to download it as a spreadsheet.
    - Personally, I find the xlsx very convenient for searching for topics while I'm still at the head-scratching or swearing stage of fault-finding.
    - A new tutorial index is published every month. You can be notified of that by 'subscribing' to the thread Newly added tutorials - TenForumsTutorials
At the top of any TenForums webpage just underneath the page numbers, you'll see a Thread tools button.
Click on that then click on Subscribe to this thread or Unsubscribe from this thread as required.
