Recover windows from Force Shutdown
What effect does forcing a windows shut down have? Second time in 3 days a force shut down has put my system in jeopardy and it refuses to boot.
My laptop. Was trying to load some dlls and it went fine, but suddenly my system wasn't restarting, or even shut down. I couldn't get into the alt+ctrl+del menu either, so I forced it shut down and bang. Gone. I was never able to recover it. I couldn't even reset it up.
I transfer all the data I was working on to my desktop. I worked all night (did nothing to my main windows.) Shut it down, slept, woke up in the morning to see that the red light near the power button was on for some reason. I press the enter button or power button to see whether it is still on or nothing, nada. There's supposed to be a white light from my mobo to be lit which it wasn't, so I was sure that my system isn't up fully. I force it shut down by the power button (which I have done so on many occassions in similar situations, sometimes my system would do scary shit, like turning itself on from hibernation on its own. I still have no idea why or what was causing it)
Anyways, force shut down. Turned it on. And lo my windows doesn't start and shows the symptoms of my laptop.... There shouldn't have been any virus either. Ofc my AV was off since I was working with win10xpe and some other tools. But seriously, the heck is wrong with windows and force shut down...
EDIT: Windows 1909 x64 18363.592 on desktop and 18363.1110 on my laptop... Heck am I supposed to do. I got no restore points or recent image. I do have an old image probably. From my laptop issue I know that my bootloader is probably messed up since I had to fix that first (although then the windows wouldn't boot, since some files had gotten corrupted).
