    English English Spell Check

It used to be that my web browser always had English English for its auto spell check, but ever since I went to Win Edge it started to try to "correct" me with American spellings. As a result I tried to change it back to English English, but now auto spell check doesn't work at all! Any idea how I can correct this and have it working again but with English English?

Are you using the new Chromium Edge? If so, how did you try to change the spell check language in Edge?

    See if this tutorial helps.

I've checked and I must have a different version, because I don't get that menu pop up when I click on Settings. All I get is a basic profile menu with "Manage account", "Sync", "Passwords", "Payment info", "Addresses and more", and "Import browser data". Do you know by that what version I have?

I've managed to get the Spell Check working though by doing a search through the Settings page. Now it's accepting both English English and American English, but hey-ho! *shrugs"

You missed Step 3 which says, "Click/tap on Languages on the left side."

If you still want to know the answer to that someday, take a look back in Settings, left side, bottom of list and click on "About Microsoft Edge"
