How to hide Taskbar & Desktop Icons on Startup on Windows 10

I only want to see my background when i log in. I've tried unshecking the 'Show desktop icons' option and it works ones after restarting the computer, but i've to unsheck it again for it to work another time. When it comes to the taskbar i've no clue, thanks in advance, any help is much appreciated.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding but to hide taskbar, right click Task Bar and select "Taskbar Settings". Then select hide Taskbar "Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode"

Yes, but i can still see the taskbar for 1-2 seconds after logging in which is the problem i'm trying to solve. Thank you anyway.

Hmmm....thought I would try a reboot before answering about desktop icons. With my Pro version, I can say desktop icons are still hidden on reboot AND taskbar does not show even for "1-2 seconds". I do autologin if that even makes a difference ??

I've the pro version, wasn't too sure what info was of importance. And to make it clear the icons are hidden for me after one reboot. I tried autologin just now but didn't show any improvement ):

So i've discovered that the reason for the "Show desktop icons" option getting check marked automatically is a third party app called AutoHideDesktopIcons launching. That is a problem i won't go in any more detail since it doesn't have much to do with windows anymore and will treat that part as solved.

However i've also discovered that when launching my computer, i can for a split second see "c:\windows\system32\cscript.exe" running (thx to slow-mo vid :P). And i imagine this is the problem since this "action" forces the taskbar to show itself.

And i don't know what to do with this information. Delete it? If so, how? Thanks.

For many years, even before Microsoft took them over, my go to programs for things like this were Sysinternals. I would suggest using their Autoruns utility and report back what you see or post pic of the Logon tab. It will show all auto-starting locations of items that execute at startup.

If wanting to change the log-in I'd be looking at Kiosk Mode [Internet Search].
