    Select C:\winddows\SysWow64\cmd. exe

when trying to open "Uninstall or change a program", " System properties" from This PC or trying from right click on desktop to open Personalization or Display setting, a cmd open and close right after and nothing happens, but if click on that cmd right before it close, it stays open, blank, with title write as i mention... from Settings i can open everything, i can create and delete folder everywhere, so it's not a Permission thing... to mention that if i try to type something in that cmd it close immediatly.

    Hi, you might try this:
    System32\cmd.exe Runs on Startup - March 2013 - Forums - CNET

    - seems to report a similar command prompt box

And thank you for your reply.

I am confused. Who is 'he' and where does XP come into this?

And are you now changing the problem description?

Ah - I see what you mean. The link was in a more recent post found by searching for
    C:\windows\SysWow64\cmd.exe

so I assumed it was directly relevant.

As it suggests, but with a change to use what you are seeing in Win 10:

Click on Start-Run, type: msconfig, then click on OK. When the System Configuration Tool loads, click on the "Startup" tab, then see if "C:\windows\SysWow64\cmd.exe" is listed there..
What happened before this started happening?
Did you install or uninstall anything?
    Change anything?
How long has this been happening?

If it started recently, do you have a suitable System Restore point you could use?
