    Get this waking my PC - MoUsoCoreWorker.exe


    I've started getting this [PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume10\Windows\System32\MoUsoCoreWorker.exe waking my PC on a regular basis recently.

    Any ideas what this is and how I can stop it?

    Windows 10 2004.

    I just posted on the same thing. Appears to be a bug with recent Windows Update push. Go to services, stop Windows Update, do a manual Update check in Settings, and you might have a failed update that was messing things up. I should properly get through and stop causing computer to wake. Mine is working again...hope it stays that way.

    What it is and does: What is the USO Core Worker Process or usocoreworker.exe? Are they viruses?

    Thanks, but 2 things. Firstly, this process is irritatingly waking my PC and not allowing it to sleep, and secondly, it’s mousocoworker.exe. Don’t know if that makes a difference.

    Last answer on page #6 .......
    I had the same issue back again today. I fixed by going into services, stopping Windows Update Service and restarting again (I guess temporally). Worked in two different computers. I ran windows update, and found a pending patch, I installed, reboot, and powercfg -requests no longer shows mousocoreworker.exe. Hope this helps!
