I do many file/folder searches in my work and the search result view is always CONTENT.
I would like my default search view to always be DETAIL?
Windows 10 pro
Any help for this would be appreciated.

Hi see if this is something you want to do. i would make an image backup first. never know if something going to happen.

'Better' depends on what you want to do. E.g. Everything doesn't index file content.
The biggest problem with Windows search is that it has to be understood- not suitable for consumers.

I know it indexes file and folder names, the point was about indexing the content of files. Do you understand the difference?
For example, if I have a txt file containing 'abracadabra' can Everything find abracadabra? Windows search can if content indexing is enabled for that file.E.g. Everything doesn't index file content.
