Copy/Cut/Paste has become very slow past few days 523 mb taking over an hour,currently stuck at 25% for past 30 mins.
Small files get to 90% after quite a while,then sticks indefinaatejy,

Hi, please define the scenario- from what source are you copying, and to what destination are you pasting?
E.g.
- between internal disks within your PC
- from an internal disk in your PC to the same disk
- from a network source to a network destination
- from a network source to your PC
- from your PC to a network destination
- from an external disk to any of the above
- from any of the above to an external disk
etc
etc
Have you checked your disks?
Download and run Hard Disk Sentinel (trial) and post a screenshot of its comment on each disk.
This gives the best instant analysis I know of.
If ok, from an admin command or Powershell prompt run
chkdsk X: /scan
- for each drive/ partition where X is its drive letter, in turn.
Post the short summary result for each.
If all the above pass, post a screenshot of your task manager's Processes tab when you are experiencing the problem, and also its Performance tab for each of the relevant disks thus:
