Windows store downloaded something without my knowledge
I open the windows store and a file immediately began to download. It's labeled as "drm". Anyone familiar with this?

It looks like there is an e-Book reader that comes up in a search. The only other thing I can think of, is you may have gotten some paid media content and the store was downloading the DRM license for it.
DRM is not always used only for media, it can also be used for apps.
The thing is this mystery app, after it downloaded, is nowhere to be found on my computer.
This statement found on the Fitbit site suggests that DRM is indeed involved with their product:
Fitbit’s Rights
“Fitbit Content” includes any text, graphics, images, music, software, audio, video, works of authorship of any kind, and information or other materials that are posted, generated, provided or otherwise made available through the Fitbit Service to you. Except for Your Content, Fitbit Content, the Fitbit Service and its underlying technology are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, intellectual property, and other laws of the United States and foreign countries. You agree not to remove, change or obscure any copyright, trademark, service mark or other proprietary rights notices incorporated in or accompanying the Fitbit Service.
I don't think you are seeing the issue.
1) apps that download that don't appear on my computer
2) something was downloaded but it didn't tell me or give me a choice
If this is the "norm" for windows then the only apps I download will be on my iPhone and I won't visit the MS Store. I seriously doubt I'm the only person who will feel that way.
