Windows 10 Desktop unable to enter Sleep

Recently, my desktop isn't able to enter Sleep. Once I press 'Sleep', the screen will darken, but after a few seconds, it will display the standard lockscreen.

Trying to enter sleep repeatedly doesn't work.

Running powercfg -requests after this issue will display 1 result:
    PERFBOOST:[DRIVER] Legacy Kernel CallerPower Manager

Running powercfg -devicequery wake_armed gives no results as I disabled all of my bluetooth devices which can wake the computer.

Running powercfg -lastwake will give the following result:
Wake History Count - 1Wake History [0] Wake Source Count - 1 Wake Source [0] Type: Device Instance Path: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_15BC&SUBSYS_15BC1849&REV_10\3&11583659&0&FE Friendly Name: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (7) I219-V Description: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (7) I219-V Manufacturer: Intel Corporation

Which is weird. I do not have a Ethernet cable connected to the LAN port and even after disabling the wired adapter, it still shows up.

Any guidance to resolve this issue is greatly appreciated! Cheers :)

I solved a similar problem by going into device manager > Network adapter > Properties >

    Under the Advanced Tab:
    - Disable "wake on magic packet"
    - Disable "wake on pattern match"

Under power managment Tab (if you have one):
    - Remove the checkmark in "Allow this device to wake the pc"

In Control Panel > Power options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings > Sleep:
    Allow wake timers: Disable/Deactivate

    Edit:
I don't know if any of these options are applicable if you allready disablet the network adapter.

Thanks, but sadly I have already removed the checkmark for my wireless adapter and disabled my wired adapter. Yet, the sleep issue persists.

Did you check in the event log for error messages?
