    windows arrow cursor is hidden

    Hi,

On windows startup the windows arrow cursor is hidden and when I move the mouse sometimes the cursor appears but most of the time it does not until I unplug and replug the mouse again from USB connection. Is there any solution to this problem? I dont want to return the mouse for this issue as I like it also I dont think the store will help in anything.

Try different USB ports to see if it works correctly. Also, did it come with it's own drivers (or CD) when you added it to 'new devices'?

No CD , I downloaded the driver and control software from the company web site and install it.

Long shot, but worth checking to see if this is checked:

'Control Panel > Mouse > Pointer Options > Hide pointing while typing'

It might be getting mixed up and causing a problem. Try toggling it On or Off.

Try a different mouse. If that one works fine, you've isolated issue to this mouse.

As for the delay in showing up try a USB 2 port. The BIOS has support for USB 2 input devices but usually have to wait for the OS to install/load drivers for the USB 3 support, might be different for newer computers with combination USB2/USB3 ports.

I installed and updated both keyboard and mouse drivers with iobit driver booster so this may fix it as well
