Hello Chuck,
You might check using the tutorial below to see if you may have mistakenly turned on High Contrast mode.
Turn On or Off High Contrast Mode in Windows 10
Hey Brink, thanks for the reply ! But it did not help ! 2 days of trying to figure this one out & lots of googling with no results to fix the problem !
It is my first time with a touch screen & there is no moue pointer, only if i use a plug in mouse am i able to get it up & going ! Any suggestions on a disappearing mouse also ??
Thanks
There wouldn't be a pointer showing on a touchscreen unless you did have something like a mouse or touchpad connected.
Please go ahead and post a screenshot showing this negative picture affect to see what it may be.
According to the 'Detailed Specifications for Satellite C55T-C5300' in addition to the touch screen there is also a touch pad. So unless you have disabled it there should be should be a mouse cursor.
Support Home - Satellite C55T-C5300Input Devices
• Frameless TruType Keyboard with 10-Key
• Touch pad pointing device with multi-touch control
Dynabook (Toshiba) Support | How do I enable or disable my touchpad? Some laptop models use the function keys to enable or disable the touchpad....
...Some models have a touchpad enable / disable button above the touchpad . If you see this button on your model, try pressing it.
It looks to be a possible issue with the graphics driver. Check to make sure you have the latest version installed.
Brink, i installed new drivers & checked for other drivers that might be out dated and the results are the same, it looks like a negative photo Thanks for your help & if you think of anything i am willing to go for it !!
