    Is This Weird?

So earlier in the year, I believe two days after the release of the game Valorant I took my gaming PC to a lil shop to get fixed (MSi GS63VR Stealth Pro). The man had me leave my password to log in so I did, (issue was hardware but whatever) when I went to pick it up he told me that the password I left him didn't work, but when I tried it it worked on the first go. After that, some random days when I'd boot up my PC from sleep it would tell me that I had entered a faulty password too many times and I had to enter A1B2C3 to try again, even though this was my first time booting up the computer for awhile. That stopped shortly, but to this day it seems when I first boot up my PC I get the message "wrong password." I wasn't concerned about it for awhile but today when I booted up my PC and it showed the password bar, I saw a bunch of random letters being typed and then entered incorrectly. I'm kinda curious if this should be cause for concern, because I don't think its much but glitch.

This sounds very dodgy and malware may have been installed. I would recover from the last working backup or do a clen install.

I think someone is remotely controlling your PC, clean install your PC >> RIGHT AWAY!!! << and disable your network or use another network.

This is very dangerous stuff and your PC may be at serious risk!!!

Does the mouse pointer also move by itself?

The computer was out of your hands . Run a malware program just to check.
But above all Change your passwords and or pins at once. If you can't change them that is a good sign
that you may have been hijacked . A clean install with new password is what you will need.

    Hello @jimbean1088,

    You have a few options.

[A.] Re-image using an image that was taken BEFORE it went to the shop.
[B.] Run everything you can Virus and Malware wise.
    [C.] Clean install. This involves . . .

[1] Back up ALL of your data files and folders to an external HDD.
[2] Retrieving product/license keys for any software that you have installed.
    [3] Downloading the ISO.
    [4] Turn OFF the Internet.
    [5] Install Win 10.
[6] Turn ON the Internet and do all the WU's.
    [7] Make a System Image.
[8] Install your programs and configure the OS as you like it.
    [9] Make a System Image.

    You get the general idea.

    I hope this helps!

What he's trying to say is... Clean yo sh*t up and start anew! (OK, bit too rough but start fresh, change your passwords and please, don't give your PC away to a stranger. Now you see what will happen...)

It's quite normal to forfeit your login PW if the issue expand beyond hardware, but this needs be informed to you (usually with a temporary password login-in) and with a full permission by you. What's weird is the other stuff.. What shop is this exactly? If you can see letters being typed in your password bar on the Windows login screen, I believe someone has installed a remote access tool to your PC. Definitely remove it immediately through the methods anyone in here are saying. And if you can prove ill-intent and that this happened after you got the PC 'fixed', seek out this shop and make people aware of their crime. Installing a RAT is illegal without consent.

    Hello @jimbean1088,

Just to add to my previous post, a quick way to view a list of ALL the installed programs is to open PowerShell and enter the following cmd and press <Enter> . . .
    Code:
    Get-ItemProperty HKLM:\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\* | Select-Object DisplayName, DisplayVersion, Publisher, InstallDate | Format-Table –AutoSize > “C:\Users\<username>\Desktop\Installed_Programs.txt”
NOTE: Obviously change the <username> to your <username>.

To retrieve Product/License keys, you can use something like ShowKeyPlus, Belarc etc.

    I hope this helps!
