    white space lower right

In the right corner of the screen about 3"x 4" there is a white box that won't go away unless I restart then occasionally it will return. Is this a hardware problem. I would have given a screen shot but it is not there at the moment.

Hi, you can discover which process is responsible if you download and use a program such as Winspy.

I saw a video which showed how to open task manger + under applications find "message" and delete it. Apparently their OS was unlike mine as I have no applications in task manager only processes, performance, app history, startup, users, details history.
But I have yet to see your link and thank you for replying.
I am optimistic something is running that should not be and hopefully not hardware.

And no, there is nothing that either a right or left click does to affect a change in that box. Next time, I will prntscrrn it. I hope upgrading the graphics card fixed it though.

    Do you see this?

Click Download Now -- to download the program. It's quite small. The site is reliable.

I have done that for you and it is attached.

Thank you for all the work- I feel badly about that.
What I was trying to say is that my low level of technology prohibits me from using that app as I don't know what I am doing.

Hello, you want to know what the process name is. So click the Process tab.

Then can you see what it says at the top?

left click, hold, and drag that target top left onto the window. Here I've done that for Firefox.

You drag it onto your white window- provided that stays visible.

I have the idea now and thank you. I will familiarize myself with it. BTW, since I updated the graphics card it appears to be fine now.

Just thought I'd jump in here to say the same thing happened to me yesterday. White box appeared in lower right corner of my screen and I could do nothing to get rid of it except to reboot. I assumed it was a notification, but no idea which one. I have a new machine, all the latest Windows updates have installed, including latest drivers, etc. It's only happened once thus far. Hopefully the issue won't persist, but I've turned off notifications for most things, so we'll see. Hopefully the issue won't come back for you!
