Cannot relocate Documents/Pictures anymore from the default location

Part of my job is to login to customer's laptops who bought them from us for a tuning session. I often advice them to NOT connect to the internet while creating the account during the initial setup wizard otherwise they will be forced to sign in with a Microsoft account.

That is not an issue even if they forgot as I can simply convert the account back to a local one but what I've noticed recently in Windows 10 Build 2004 is that the Documents/Pictures folder goes to the OneDrive folder as a location by default since they might've signed in with a Microsoft account, I am able to change the location of all other user libraries like Favorites, Music, Videos, Downloads but NOT Documents or Pictures. It throws in a permissions warning. I have tried setting it to the everyone group, exiting OneDrive, even signing out of it and uninstalling OneDrive but those 2 folders are locked and you can't change the location.

Anyone noticed this if they installed Windows 10 on a new machine recently?

To "unlock", you have to disable the OneDrive "Backkup" for those folders from the OneDrive settings dialog:
Cannot relocate Documents/Pictures anymore from the default location-screenshot-38-.png

That restores the folders to their default USerProfile locations, but the content remains in the local OneDrive folders & has to be moved manually.

Once that's done, the folders can be relocated like the others.
