Cmd screen flashes during startup! What is it?

Every now and then, during startup (when all applications are loading, etc.) I'll get a cmd prompt window that flashes for a second or two (not long enough to read/decipher what it says or what is happening) and then disappears. No idea what just loaded, started or anything. Just a flash (thanks MS).

Is there any way/method to catch these in some sort of history to be able to review the event? Like I stated, not often, even rare to be sure, but it sure would be nice to understand what just happened.

This is normally a ms did to update OneDrive and often a couple of cmds that run if it's a concern install sinoatrial that pauses it and shows you what it is

Thanks, but, what is "sinoatrial?" Google didn't help.

I get the CMD flash on my three machines. Sometimes one, sometimes up to three. Like you said it's so brief you don't have time to read what is triggering it (one time I happen to be looking in the right spot when it happened, and it was MS Office doing one), but it is normal, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I've got daily MR differential backup images so I was able to restore and reboot. Did it three times just to make sure. After the restore (from early this morning) the first restart was totally uneventful, no popup cmd screens. The subsequent restart had the two cmd popup screens. That sequence happened in the exact same way every single time. So, I'm going with either the MS Office (which I have installed locally) thing, or some MS Windows thing. Either way, the laptop functions perfectly, so I'm going to stop obsessing (my better half tells me I can be that way about computers). Issue solved, thanks guys!

Film it with a mobile phone then play it back and pause it so you can read what is in the cmd window that flashes up.

I think it has to do with programs that are starting up with your boot. Try disabling the programs that start at boot; most if not all being unnecessary to start at the Boot.

You can disable them using Task Manager. Right click on your taskbar..Select Task Manager. Go to Start Up and disable each program that appears there. I would leave your Security and One Drive enabled, but disable the rest.

Cmd prompt at Boot should disappear.

Boot into Safe Mode and see if it happens.

Follow the instructions for a Clean Boot -
