I have a PC connected to a TV that I have previously used the nightlight setting in windows 10. I noticed tonight it was off, so I switched it on and something very strange happened. Instead of dimming the blue light windows seems to be dimming blue and red. The picture turns green. What on earth has happened? I believe there is a registry key that controls this, is there something I can do to sort it out?

I have noticed one other very recent complaint about this that I found doing a search. None of the fixes in that thread worked.
