letters, with white surrounding

Hi Everyone, my English is rather poor, please forgive me.
My eyes are not the best anymore, and I can't see letters well, when they are not clear. Sometimes I get letters, with white surrounding and blurry. I attach a file where you can see it. I don~t even know, how to call it.
If someone could help me, and tell what I should do, i'll be very thankful. I turned already all effects off, but it didn't help

Your photo shows "0 Anonymous", repeated 7 times.
I do not see any white surrounding the letters. None at all.
Perhaps you have problems with your vision?

Please open "Explorer", rightclick on "My computer" and select "Preferences", then go to Advanced --> Performance --> Settings. There, under "Visual effects", make sure the "Smooth edges of screen fonts" is ticked. If this is already ticked or if it does not help with your issue, then I'm not sure what the problem could be. I must agree with margrave55 that the picture you attached looks just like it should.

hajen: as I wrote, I tried to set all possibilities on or off in effects, it didn't change anything.

magrave55: it is not the meaning of the text is important. And yes as I wrote, I have problem with my vision. Here, on my screen it is much worse then on the screenshot.

Sorry!! It was not Windows, it was my Philips monitor!
