Windows Time Changes when a user in a different time zone logs in

    Hello,

I have several users internationally that log into my windows machine to access bookkeeping software. I have noticed lately that my windows time will change to an incorrect time (I believe based on their location) when they log in. I have tried to disable automatic time sync for time zone and date/time, but that did not help. I am assuming that there may be a policy that I can edit to prevent other users from changing times.

Does anyone have any idea how I can stop this from happening?

    Thanks,
    Dave

Your computer is probably syncing to theirs, maybe turn that off?

    Hi there,

I agree, but I am not sure how to do that. It says it is set to sync with time.windows.com. I even tried to block access to time.windows.com in my firewall hoping that it would prevent the computer from changing, but it did not help.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

thank you for the reply. I mentioned above that I tried that and it did not work. Although, you and I must think a lot alike!

    Thanks for trying.
