No, I think you can also access it via control panel. Another extension I saw from the list is NVIDIA control panel, this extension also causes problem so keep an eye on it.Synaptics Control Panel seems to be the offending extension for me. Any downside for disabling it?
I5 6600K
16GB Ram
256GB SSD Corsair
12TB HDD (4x3TB WD Green)
CoolerMaster V650W
Windows 10 Professional x64 1607
and a TON on software.
Same issue, menu takes forever in latest build to display.
And no clue how to bloody fix this issue, it's driving me insane, since I need this menu a LOT...
Drivers are latest version, tried disable any NVidia part both in Register and in NVidia Control Panel, but no matter what I do, the system's menu is frikken slow.
In Explorer it works normal ON FOLDERS, but once I start to manage my files... that's where things go awkward.
On my desktop it's not even working, it flashes for 1/8th a second and it is gone again...
The further we venture into this Windows 10 farce, the more that starts to fail.
They should have NEVER left Win 7!
Though, Explorer always had serious issues with large data handling....
Even in W7Ult x64.
Maybe they should build a modern Norton Commander, now THAT was a great system tool.
I started having this problem a few months ago. I tried a lot of things but finally used ccleaner to clean the register. I had not done in quite a while so a lot of stuff appeared. Cleared it out and things are back to normal.
