Sort files and folders of different type alphabetically

Is there a way of sorting different types and folders alphabetically together in a folder?
    For example :-

    Folder Name A
    PDF Name A
    Folder Name B
    PDF Name B

At the moment W10 would sort these as,even though I have only checked name in the sort by field :-

    Folder Name A
    Folder Name B
    PDF Name A
    PDF Name B

Hope this makes sense'thanks in advance

I think windows 10 only allows the following - Unless use a third party app

Right-click in an open area of the details pane and select Sort By from the pop-up menu.
Select how you want to sort: Name, Date Modified, Type, or Size.
Select whether you want the contents sorted in Ascending or Descending order

To sort files in a different order,
Click the view options button in the toolbar
And choose By Name, By Size, By Type, By Modification Date, or By Access Date.

If you select By Name, the files will be sorted by their names, in alphabetical order.

Yeah - this was only solution I ever found. There was a hack some years back to get round this but does not work on W10.

I was on a project with zillions of files and folders, and I had to use search method but even that is a PITA as I had to keep redoing it, causing a lengthy search each time.

Thanks for the answers, thought that was the case, but was worth asking the question

Marking the question as resolved anyway
