How to *completely* get rid of that pesky login screen?
I'm really enjoying Windows 10, but something is really bothering me about it. When I boot up my PC (I have "fast boot" on my BIOS if that matters), I want it to go directly to my desktop just like in older Windows. But no, it shows this screen:This is not my screenshot, it's an image I got from Google to get you guys an idea of what I'm talking about.
On that login screen, I can choose my local account or my @outlook.com account. If I choose my local account, I don't need to put my password. If I choose my @outlook.com, I need to put my password... and now you maybe be asking: why don't I simply use my local account? Because I use OneDrive to keep my personal things, and I'm not sure if it works with local accounts... but even so, I just want to get completely rid of that screen and make it boot to desktop without any interaction from me.
After some tweaking, I successfully disabled that stupid lock screen. This PC is for gaming, not to be a tablet-wannabe... but I can't seem to get rid of the login screen.
I did some more research, so I pressed , ran netplwiz and disable this checkbox:
...to no avail. I still get that annoying login screen when I boot up my PC.
I feel like I'm missing something really obvious... so yeah guys, I would be so grateful if someone could help me. :)
If it matters at all, all my drivers are up to date and I have a legit Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) (upgraded from Windows 8.1).
