How to move folders from OneDrive to another folder in the c: drive

A tech guy loaded some files from my Win7 to my new Win10 home.
He also put my old Pictures, Documents folders in the following path:

    c:\Users\(name)\One Drive\ .....

We don't want or will ever use OneDrive.
More importantly Acronis won't back up anything on OneDrive when doing a full image backup.
Even when I deleted the OneDrive from the Acronis Exception list, it will still not back it up.

What's the best way to fix this?
Can I just rename the One Drive folder to something else so it will get backed up along with everything else?

Copy the files you want to keep to a folder of your choice then delete the OneDrive folder. Windows will recreate that folder should you ever decide to use OneDrive.

I moved the Documents and Pictures folders up one level outside of OneDrive.

But one of the docs was Outlook Files and Outlook2016 won't work because it is looking for this folder which I had to move back to the OneDrive folder.

How do I change the default location in Outlook so it will look for the folder at the new location?

Outlook mail files are normally stored in C:\Users\myname\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook. Why are yours under OneDrive? The only solution I can think off is to delete you mail profile and create a new one in the default location. You will not loses email data if you use IMAP servers, else you will need to be careful to backup your mail data.

    Steve,

"delete you mail profile and create a new one in the default location. "

I know how to create it (I think) but how exactly do you start it in the default location (which would be one level up)?
