Cannot access the WindowsApps folder

This is a protected hidden folder so you don't do damage.

I hope you are following the so often repeated advice here to use disk imaging routinely. E.g. Macrium Reflect (free - paid) + external storage for disk imaging.

That way you can protect yourself against ransomware, disk failure, theft and even your own mistakes.
