I need to replace my MB. WHen I do search for my model, It seem there is different CPU speed on MB. I can't figure wish one I have. Maybe the MB have a part number, but I can't find it.

Try Speccy (free). Post a screenshot of the Summary page. It will list the various pieces of hardware in your laptop.

Sorry, I assumed the laptop was working.
Anyway, you should Google for a: Dell XPS 14 (L421X) motherboard and just compare the picture to the one in YOUR laptop.
From the Specs sheet for your laptop, I can only tell you that the motherboard has an: Intel H77 Express chipset.
I Googled: Dell XPS 14 (L421X) motherboard
...and found a lot of results. they all "appear" to be the same motherboard. They have a model number sticker ON the motherboard. THIS is want you will want to compare with the motherboard in YOUR laptop.
The model number and the picture of course.
Just like in a desktop there will be a few different speed CPUs that go into the same motherboard. So that will not be the determining factor.

The point is....that you need to open up your laptop so you can compare the various numbers on the motherboard to the numbers in the pics.

I found one refurbished motherboard at one of the places we refer on the Dell forums. Its in Austin Tx so probably buys Dell excess.

I just ran ran Speccy on my HP laptop
The motherboard section includes the model, version, vendor & chipset information.
Use the manual for your XPS 14 L421X laptop to see if they have motherboard information for your particular laptop: check the PN and if there are alternate replacement PN's.
Then go to Parts people: The Dell experts since 2002. Dell OEM Replacement Parts.
Dell Laptop Parts | Dell Parts | Dell Laptop Repair | Dell Repair
--- Look for what motherboard they have and see what their prices are.
--- They might even have a method to detect the your motherboard.
--- If not, talk to them & see what they have to offer.
Following that you can compare the cost of any other research you investigate.

could be helpful also as they have mainboard & chipset information also.

You can also enter your Dell Service Tag in the Dell support site [as if you were looking for updated drivers] and it shows you a link for checking your original configuration - View system configuration.
Personally, I'd delete the Dell Service Tag from the original post in case it gets abused.
- if somebody used your Dell Service Tag to download a driver then your Dell page would not show you that driver because they would know you did not need it because "you" had already downloaded it.
- if memory serves me correctly, this causes problems if you are using a Dell download manager.
Since that computer was bought in July 2012, is it really worth spending money on? Perhaps something else is about to go wrong as soon as you have spent the MB money.
