Is there any way to clean up or move C:\ProgramData ?

The amount of free storage on C: is decreasing steadily. Even though I install most of my apps on another drive (D:), C:\ProgramData just keeps getting bigger. Right now C:\ProgramData is 39.2 GB.

Is there anything I can do about this, or does the whole C:\ProgramData have to be on C:?

That is very large. On my machine that has been running Windows 10 since 2015 the ProgramData folder is just a tenth of that size. Do you know what's taking up all that space? If not, have a look with TreeSize Free.

When you can identify what's eating up your free space, then we can say what could be done about it.

    It can't be moved.

Look at the TEMP and Logs folders in ProgramData.

Download the portable version of Revo Uninstaller and uninstall any programs you're not using.

Run Disk Cleanup on a regular basis.
