I've been wanting the old control panel back in Windows 10 and I'm wondering if anyone knows how? And it doesn't have to but I would like the old windows update back in it also. All help appreciated. My WVN is Version 2004 (OS Build 20161.1000)
A good way to do this, is to upgrade to Windows 7

    Windows is losing its way.

MS just wants to be big, makes sense but the last consumer-friendly major release of Windows IMHO was Windows 7.

Windows 8 is good for Microsoft and business.. they really did try. Bad for us though.

W7 is so old and tired - why do people keep saying it is user friendly - far from it.

No power menu, poor driver support (especially. USB3), no ability to mount isos as a drive, task manager crashes all the time, print manager not much better, poor touchscreen support, no multiple clipboard facility, no dx12 support, no secure boot option, insane updates (partly rectified by cumulative updates) etc. etc. etc.

W7 should be consigned to the dustbin of history.

K... I don't think there is any way to get the old CP back... I'm sorry for wasting your guy's time...Thanks for trying...
Just run C:\Windows\System32\control.exe and see if you still like what's left in it.
