The reason why im on the latest fast ring build is because there might be security updates and I just want the old control panel back with the latest security updates.

And seemingly not what the OP wants. It puzzles me why they are trying to resurrect the old Control Panel functions in the latest Fast Ring build anyway, when Microsoft have taken so much time to design it out of that build.
Because you can do many things easier. When I want to forget WiFi, I have to always google, how to do it.

The Fast Ring [now called Dev] is a BETA/Test version and as such will have more issues than an RTM version. The Feedback feature should be used to tell Microsoft about issues.

Hasn't really articulated what he wants.

Said he "edited" (Group Policy? Something else?) the Control Panel, and wants the "original", but keeps getting the "edited" one.
Ok, I'm trying to get my Insider preview looking like Windows 7. And to make it look like Windows 7 even more I need the old CP

Can't get much easier than clicking Start, typing WiFi to get the appropriate Settings page, then clicking 'manage known networks'. You can forget from there.

Original Post, or Originating Poster. It can be used to refer to either the first post or the author of that post.

I'm afraid you're swimming against the tide. Microsoft are trying to make the Settings app the primary control in Windows 10.

You may find that 'God Mode' satisfies some of your needs.

This tutorial will show you how to create or download a Control Panel All Tasks (aka "God mode") shortcut in Windows 10.
