More 2004 strangeness?
I needed to use PowerShell on one of my PCs this morning for the first time since installing 2004. When I opened it, I saw that the usual backslashes (\) had been replaced by the Japanese yen (¥) mark.
Not only that, ¥ shows when I type \ on the keyboard in PowerShell. This doesn't happen anywhere else. Only in PowerShell on that PC. PowerShell commands operate as they should. Running Get-WinUserLanguageList shows only US English as the set language. Any ideas what could be wrong?
EDIT: All fixed now. The problem was apparently in the shortcut. I created and configured a new one to match the proper PowerShell window in another PC.![]()
