How do you BOOT into Windows 10 without an installation disk?

My sons girlfriends laptop came up with this problem yesterday...

0xc000000f: Error attempting to read the boot configuration data

She has no Windows 10 installation Disk. The web page shows prior Windows had a Utility that could be downloaded to fix this problem. Is there anything that can be done for Windows 10?

Nothing was changed on her laptop.

Was there an external HDD or USB attached when she booted?

    I hope this helps!

Another method is to install Macrium Reflect Free on a working computer:
Macrium Software | Macrium Reflect Free

Create the Macrium rescue USB flash drive with it. Then boot her computer from the flash drive. Macrium Reflect has an excellent utility to fix Windows boot problems under the restore menu. It will fix many problems that the Windows 10 built in repair won't.

When you power on the PC if you see the windows logo quickly press the power button to shut it down. Repeat the same process 3 times and the PC will go to the recovery options where you can repair the issue.
