have application window always open in the same location?

every time I open the "application" the window is always in a different spot, is there any way to get it to always open in the upper left corner, without any 3rd party software? Like a shortcut script or something?

    any help is greatly appreciated!

Which particular program? Typically they do remember where last opened.

Is this a new issue since upgrading to 2004?
Have you seen this program behave as you want previously?

No guarantee, but you can try this. The app may ignore it.

Get the app positioned where you want it.

Hold CTRL key down, right-click the Title bar, click Close.

See if it remembers. If not repeat but use the SHIFT key held down.

Windows screens will remember, but 3rd party apps are on their own. Some very popular and highly used ones such as MalwareBytes are like that. It will not accept any screen position commands or attempts. Just the way the app is written.

Sorry, not much you can do about it. There may be a 3rd party app to force positioning, but I wouldn't know what it would be. You don't want to do that anyhow.
