Not for it's surge protection but it does include it. There are two AWESOME features hiding in plain sight.



Ever buy a big plug pad and you can't use half the plugs because what's plugged in is so big it blocks other outlets? Those little mofos SPIN. You're welcome.

Also the plugs on these pads can be thick and robust -- sticking out of the socket four to five inches with a cord that doesn't like to bend so much. You're welcome again.

So... suppose you have this tucked away out of view. But sometimes you want to be able to plug and unplug certain items quickly. Without going under your desk. Voila --

I have my OnePlus plugged into one of the two socket. Because I don't want to climb under my desk each time I need the charger. Plus those 3 USB ports charge a BT speaker, a tiny quiet desk fan, and my earbuds.

I've seen that unit before and it's nice, but I wouldn't use it to "protect" my system.

CyberPower - Very good!
Tripp Lite - Very good!

Belkin - Stay away!
No Names - Double stay away!

As one who also had APC units, I see no advantage over Cyberpower other than name recognition.
