gedit.msc for W10 Home

Odd, works for me..1903 as you can see from my specs:


I get a UAC prompt when I launch it.

In what way doesn't it work?
- doesn't launch?
- doesn't load the policies?
- error message?
- screenshot?

It installs but doesn't launch and after that I stopped exploring it because of having so many other pressing issues to deal with. I find that trying to keep up with the sudden increase of software evolution (changes), is becoming impossible.

Blocked by some security software? Do you have UAC off?

Are you running as a standard user?

Always as Admin and UAC is disabled

Runs if I disable UAC.

This is where I 'installed' it using Nirsoft's useful zipinstaller which creates start menu entries and uninstall capability for portable progs in zip files (like his utilities):


Perhaps related to the path?
