Windows update - back to 18363

Updated 2x VMware Workstation Windows 10 x64 from 18363.900 to 19041.329 and ended up with a black desktop (with icons), what should have been blue.
Both should have been synchronised with the host Windows 10, 'blue' desktop, still 18363.900, sync was enabled.

I have updated a third VM Windows 1 x64, installed as local, i.e. not linked to my Microsoft account and which I am rarely using. That one maintained the desktop as it was...

Returned to 18363 by restoring VM snapshots.

Just wanted to report this. Looks like sync is broken?

Solution: Start > Settings > Personalisation > Background
select Background Picture (drop down selection)
browse and select the previously saved custom Windows 10 background.
(assuming that user has saved that background)
