I am trying to find the home folder and these are the instructions I got but they dont make sense to my: To find your Home folder, open Finder and use the keyboard shortcut Command-Shift-H. You can use the Go pull-down menu from the menu bar to go to the Home folder.: can-someone help me please ?
Appears to refer to some program 'finder' - which is not part of Windows.
Those instructions appear to refer to an Apple Mac.

The Home Holder in Windows is a private network location where a user can store their personal files. It's stored in a shared folder on a Network Server. When you create the Home Folder on a Network Server, a user can access that folder from any computer on the network, if permissions are granted the user by the admin in AD. Are you connected to a company network or a private network?
There is a Home folder on most if not all versions of Linux installations. Can't say if that is affected by the computers being connected to a non-Server-based network, haven't tried in a non-network environment..
