The "How to" of the tutorial teaches exactly what I always did to have the window color that suits my needs, since old, old Windows versions.
The problem with my Win10 happens when the system starts after being suspended.
The windows color become the default "aggressive" white, as if the system did not read my Registry.
That's the problem I want to solve, but don't know how.

I just want the window color (RGB 255,255,200) I set on Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors[/INDENT]
to be always available (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) even after the system is activated after eventual suspension periods, like on previous Windows versions.
Don't know if I made myself clear enough.

Clue: post #4 - that's relevant to resuming from sleep, resuming from hibernation.
- save a new theme, reapply that theme on resuming using a scheduled task triggered by resuming. That's what I do. I documented that here 3 years or more ago:

And again, as I said, someone posted a fairly simple fix in tenforums for this 2-3 years ago- you'd have to try searching for it just as I would.

Have found my copy of - and the thread about- the other fix I mentioned. Whilst related to the event- resuming- and reversion of colour, it unfortunately doesn't help with the background colour as far as I can see.
