Problems moving data from W7 to W10

    Thank you and I appreciate the helpful advice.

    I'll try to use the W10 own menu structure (I think it was called Metro?), not the one with all the app boxes.

    GitHub is actually owned by Microsoft
    They bought it in 2018
    Of course that does not mean that software hosted via GitHub is suitable for windows.
    You can actually make the desktop appear more or less the same as 7 was, simply by pinning to taskbar and creating desktop shortcuts.

    It's not the desktop I want to change. It's the *menu* that appears (see attached image) when I click on the Windows key. That's what "Classic Shell" provides me. The same "Explorer style" menu that Windows 7 had. Is there another way to do that without Classic shell?
