Unless you have a drive larger than 2 TB or you want more than 4 partitions on the drive or you really, really want to learn how to manually set up system drives, it is not worth messing with your working system if you don't know exactly what you are doing and have the resources available to fix everything that could go wrong.
I don't have a driver larger than 2 TB, I just thought it would be easy to convert from MBR to GPT using this tutorial Convert Windows 10 from Legacy BIOS to UEFI without Data Loss

But I do have a 250GB SSD, and I heard that it is better to run them on GPT rather than on MBR partition styles

GPT is more robust than MBR in extremes like a disastrous system crash that damages the partition table. Such events are very rare. In normal use (and even with most system crashes) there is no noticeable or practical difference between a Legacy MBR install and a UEFI GPT one.

Exactly, hence I would go with it if it's not that hard to convert from Legacy MBR to UEFI GPT using Brink's tutorial or whatsoever.

The main advantages of UEFI / GPT vs Legacy / MBR:
    a) UEFI / GPT can use Microsoft bitlocker drive encryption
    b) UEFI / GPT can use > 100 partitions
    c) UEFI / GPT is benchmark faster

Most end users can use either without any noticeable difference.

This is what is under BIOS settings in my BIOS https://i.imgur.com/ZSIMRgs.png

I took that screenshot a week ago, and I figured out that on the same date, "EFI" folder showed up on my C: drive, but I didn't change any setting in BIOS that would lead to creation of that folder.

Yes, that is a UEFI bios (I still can't explain that EFI folder though).

It does support UEFI but in System Information my BIOS mode is set to Legacy

I would only switch to UEFI because it's robust, newer and future proof.

Is this how you switch from Legacy to UEFI through the BIOS? https://i.imgur.com/RToCrBu.png

In disk management my C: drive is everything (System, Boot, Page file, Active, Primary) and there is no System Reserved partition but there is one Recovery Partition

    Does that matter?

Go ahead and post a screenshot showing the full layout in Disk Management just to be sure, but usually as long as you do not have more than 3 partitions on the disk, it should be fine.
