solitaire spider magong klondike freecell tournaments

Imagine a community of gamers, competing for bragging rights online. spider solitaire, majong, etc

2 members challenge one another to a SPECIFIC game of spider (say). They can't see each others game being played.
the competition ends when one of them solves the game. that member advances in the standings. the other member may be allowed to view all the moves that his opponent made to solve the game before he could.
No one else can watch this solve, ever. (prevents cheating)

how would one go about uniquely identifying each possible deal of the cards? only then could two people play the same game. they would have to enter the unique code for that game and the play it.

could you modify the random generator to give a set result for the card deal? the same game could then be played by two contestants on different computers, linked to a server that is compiling the stats on every member, ranking them in wins.

if such a thing could be done, would anyone even be interested? yeah, it sounds like AMC's Halt and Catch Fire but maybe they are onto something.
