Fresh W10 install, system reserved partition on unused 2nd disk
Hi guys,
I have 2 SSDs in my machine, a 1TB one and an older 128GB one. When I reinstalled Windows 10 today I installed it on the larger 1TB drive with the intention of removing the smaller one completely from the system since it's old etc. I used the diskpart tool to "clean" both drives of all partitions, then told the installer to install Windows into the unallocated space on the 1TB drive. I have everything up and running after reinstalling all my software etc, but I had a look in Disk Management and it shows a small 50MB system reserved partition on the smaller 128GB drive - which was unexpected! Now, am I ok to still just remove the 128GB drive? Why did Windows put a partition onto this drive even though I told it not to? Here is a screenshot of the Disk Management tool to illustrate:
Thanks for any help!
