I just run the Event Viewer Cleaner bat found in this forum after each shutdown. It's easy and clears every log.

Yes , you can use the cleaning-batch several ways .
It would be very nice , if a smarter guy like me , can change this batch to clean ONLY the id=642 .
Then all the other event-ids will remain in the eventviewer............
WHO ( ?) can do that , for us all................?
" make it easy import "...........very good question !
Brink is so muuuch smarter then I am , Im sure he is THE man to "rebuild" my clean-bat for only cleaning the id=642 files !
Lets hope he will help us ..........
I'm not sure for deleting event logs for specific IDs.
Clear All Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows
" Clear All Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows ".............nope , the file does the same as mine does; it clears ALL eventlog-files.
We are searching for a batch-file which ONLY clears the stubborn "ESENT id=642" logs !
Im almost sure this must be possible somehow.............
i usually clear all the logs at least each month once
makes it easier to find stuff too
i also have that esent 642 log errors and the optimize drives bug
i rater see fix for that optimize stuff so i can see when i have last optimized i think windows forget its result after a reboot not sure
" fix for that optimize stuff "............this can only be fixed with a Windows Update , maybe in future..........?
