Laptop won't boot. Can only access UEFI. Installation usb won't work.

Start of the problem: laptop been acting very slow lately so I created a windows 10 installation media usb from a different laptop and used it to reinstall windows 10 on my slow laptop. It was working fine for a few hours until I chose to install my official copy of microsoft office. I then proceeded to reboot the laptop but it wouldn't start.
Sometimes it would show a blue screen error 0xc0000185, sometimes with winload.efi being missing (?). I cannot access recovery or startup option. Only the UEFI configuration. I then opted to reinstall windows again. In the boot menu I see my flashdrive "KingstonDataTraveleer" as well as "UEFI: KingstonDataTraveler".
When I choose the KingstonDataTraveler, the windows logo would flash and then it would be black screen for a long time and nothing would happen.
If I choose UEFI: KingstonDataTraveler it would show this kind of screen and would not respond for hours.

I have tried creating recovery drive, create installation media with media creation tool, rufus with a official windows 10 iso, all from a different laptop, but they dont work. I used the latest files.

I also tried doing both GPT and MBR kind of hard disk in rufus but both didn't work

My laptop model is Asus X555L. Currently it takes a long time even without booting from USB and I have not waited long enough to see the blue screen error again.

Above is the photo of the bsod error. No matter what key I press except the Esc key, it just loops back to this screen.

Hi, this seems to be from around 2015/2016.

Here I've shown your screenshot using the normal forum feature.

Yes the laptop's pretty old but I had managed to install the latest windows 10 update before it went into this problem. Unfortunately I cannot even access the Windows Installation media. As I said above, when trying to boot the installation USB, it would either be a black screen or a weird looking screen I've linked above. I've created installation USB multiple times. It's also the same USB i used to reinstall windows the forst time around.

If you have a valid bootable medium and are confident in how you should be able to configure your BIOS or have a boot device selection menu show and you can't boot from it, you're rather sunk.

(Sorry, had to stop for lunch after typing the above)

That tends to leave things like
    - check your CMOS battery
    - reset your BIOS

    YouTube

Do you get any POST BIOS beep codes on power up?

And it's not what I'd consider particularly old.. that would be 2011-13 say..

Hmm... I dont hear any beeps when I turn it on. There is a clicking in the hard drive area when I turn it on. Although I don't think that should affect the boot media in any way, does it? Does Reset BIOS mean restoring default settings? I have tried that but it goes back to the BSOD. And it couldnt detect the plugged USB. The only time usb is detected is when CSM is Enabled.

only time usb is detected is when CSM is Enabled.
    - Does that mean you can boot from a USB flash drive?

There is a clicking in the hard drive area
Typical sound of a failed drive which would be consistent with not seeing the boot sector.

If you can boot from a USB drive, then you could create and use a live boot disk to prove the point about your internal drive.

When CSM is enabled, I can detect the USB but when I choose to boot from it, it either end up as black screen (when I choose USB) or shows up with the weird lines (UEFI: USB). I used both media creation tool and rufus to make my bootable USB. Both end up the same.

I always install windows with a usb installation key made with rufus and I never had its lines that you describe. But yesterday by installing windows 2004 I had its lines, I believed in a bug I made ALT GR-CTRL-INSERT (I wanted to make DELETE :) ) and the usb key started.

Check your CMOS battery and reset /clear BIOS.

Extract your internal disk, mount in caddy and connect to another PC -if available- as a USB disk and run tests.
