Is there a batch file to clear Event Viewer?

    Is there a batch file to clear Event Viewer?


    I have one for Windows 7 and I was wondering if there was one out to clear the Event Viewer in Win 10 Home x64?
    OS Version 10.0.18363.836 (Win10 19H2 [1909] November 2019 Update)

    I've just gotten Win 10 to behave as I like, but all the tweaking and restoring from backups, etc., has literally filled Event Viewer. I'd like to find a batch file that will empty it, so I have a clue as to what's going on, from this point forward.

    Only 10016 seems to be something I didn't voluntarily do...

    Did you run the script as Admin ?

    I have no idea, google them.

    I googled 27 for you

    Event ID: 27 at system start up...

    Ofc, I did. You must think I'm just an ordinary Member.




    /edit I don't think any of them matter. I just wanted to see what was going on w/o all the "me abusing Windows" errors.

    Run a system file check as Admin sfc /scannow

    Also pulled this up Event ID: 27 at system start up...

    I have run sfc /scannow many times. Comes back clean every time.

    Yeah, I have dual LAN ports. I only use one.









    /e With the programs list above... my C: drive shows only 26.2GB. Well, I also have the 3GB page file on the E: drive.

    I did actually write a batch script for this which is posted in the Win 7 and Win 10 forum. It is located here . . .

    [1] Goto this TenForums link => Batch Scripts / Programs.
    [2] Goto the heading Event Viewer - Clear ALL Logs . . .
    [3] Download and Run the .bat file.
