If you read it you will see numerous other fixes. You wer using an old version.
Personally I don't use it and disable aero so cannot test any of the newer versions.
Hi. Okay so classic shell stopped and its now open shell. But i have to download the newest version of open shell then in order to not get that annoying error message each time then right?
I asked on the poker forums and its been confirmed that those programs i use, you need to have aeros. So what is my option now then?
Either remove aeros from my programs and then go to www.glass8eu.com and download the newest aeros for my windows 10
OR
Go straight to www.glass8eu.com and download the newest aeros for my windows 10 and it basically will override my current aeros?
Let's try to make this really simple.
1. Uninstall Aeroglass and see if you get no error messages.
2. State your Windows build number as the forum prompted you when you wrote your first post.
Win key r , winver.
This is important for the reasons I gave early on. Look back to see that.
Please do just those things first.
Do NOT reinstall Aeroglass (yet).

I know little about Aero, AeroGlass or any Aero Themes as I use basic non aero theme in windows.
As suggested previously;
If you want to use that program, fully uninstall it, reboot then install the latest version.
Will it work? Will you get error messages? Who knows. Just try it if you want to.

No no - don't do that yet as I said. I have good reason- see issue with Windows build.reboot then install the latest version.

I was told on the poker forums that the programs i use... need to use aeros. What confuses me is... is aeroglass the same thing as aeros or its not? Because i thought i read windows 10 came with 3 versions of aero? So if i uninstall aeroglass.. let say i dont see that dwm message anymore which is most likely what will happen. Well i cant play poker because the software i use with it... wont work. So what am i suppose to do then? Download aeroglass again but the Aero Glass for Win8+ the newest version?
So if i remove aeroglass from my programs... could i still turn on aeros on my computer? The aeroglass again is just the glasslike look on the borders right? Again this was a while back and i know i downloaded that because i recall it was with the borders.
There's no such thing as aeros. That's a term only you use.
The glass effect is purely superficial. No program should be dependent on that being present.
Without Aeroglass you'd need some other program such as Windowblinds with a suitable theme to produce an Aero effect.
I don't think you're really ready to be guided as to what to do- the discussion is just going round and round without getting anywhere.

On the poker forum, the person mentions
Windows Aero is installed by default with Windows. So that is correct then right? That person does not know what aeroglass is
He say i need to have windows aero and desktop composition enabled in order to use this program correctly. Do you know how i do that? The link he gave me to do this... it is with windows 7 though... I took a look and don't find the words desktop composition anywhere. I do see enable peek...
Okay so recently I had to do a windows 10 update. Now I seem to have this message again everytime my laptop starts up?
So not that long ago, I removed my old ssd and put in the new ssd and cloned it. Im not sure exactly when but a bit afterwards... im getting similar message now everytime i turn on my laptop.
The 2 messages are

Aero Glass For Win8.1+ Incompatibility issue
Your system is NOT supported by this version of Aero Glass. Continue Anyway?

I click cancel each time and then message shows
Aero Glass does not know how to hook your version of DWM (0x7FF3).
Do not report this because this is not a bug!!!
Can someone tell me how to fix this issue? When i first had this issue a while back, it was fixed with the instructions that was given in the thread.

Hey there. Im having the same issue again. Well i had this message for a month or a bit more and i just clicked cancel and no each time.
Previously when i posted this issue, you helped me and it fixed the issue. I then later installed a new ssd and took out the old ssd and everything was fine for a while. But now i get this messages each time.
So right now what do i do? Go to remove programs and remove Aero Glass for Win8.1+?
I don't have that classic shell message like when i first had this issue when i created the thread.
But after I uninstall aero glass for win8.1+... do i go to glass.eu and reinstall the newer version or something?
