Windows delete all my text and folders

One day out of blue my text files and folders on my desktop disappear and I am unable to find them. Also, I am unable to access some of my file as the computer said I do find access to files.

Can you post a picture, or dir listing of your desktop folder?

Open explorer, and go to desktop - under This PC, select details view

Has a new user profile been created - the files are still there but under the old (possibly corrupted) user profile folder(s) ?

As stated, If your User Profile became corrupted or Windows could not load it at Startup, it would load a Default Profile, this would not have any of your Desktop Icons or other User files.
Browse to C:\Users\[YourUserName] and you should find your files, look under the Desktop folder for your Desktop icons.

Windows does not have a folder All users. It is a link to C:\ProgramData folder, in other words when you Search or run command DIR "C:\Users\All Users", it lists the content of folder C:\ProgramData.
Do you have a Screenshot of C:\Users from File (Windows) Explorer?

You can use ShadowExplorer to copy deleted files from restore points.

Not quite sure where this quote comes from above, or what message in this thread it refers to (??), but it's not true. The All Users folder is in the C:\Users folder, but it's a hidden operating systems folder, not visible unless settings are changed

All Users is a protected operational systems folder, it should not be visible to you. That error is to be expected. The only folders you should see are Default, [username] and Public.

What you need to look for in C:\Users is a folder of another username other than yours. Screenshot as suggested above will help.
