How to disable powershell in Windows 10 Home?

Hi, I recently purchased a new laptop and am having a difficult time disabling the powershell. This is something that I never use and the reason I want to disable it is to prevent it from popping up when the computer is started. I have googled how to disable it, but nothing I'm finding is working to stop the powershell screen from showing. I am including some screenshots of information from my computer, I'm not sure all of what may be needed to provide the answer(s) I'm looking for. So please, if something is missing let me know what it is and I will do my best to provide the information. The Windows Version Number is: 1903 (OS Build 18362.720).

The Add/Remove Programs doesn't show anything about the powershell, so I can't uninstall it from there.

The Uninstall Updates section also doesn't show the powershell.

In the Windows Features section, it shows Windows Powershell 2.0 (the blue powershell screen says it's version 1.0)

I'm confused as to which powershell is really on the laptop, so that isn't helping me any. If responses include things I need to do with scripts - please give very specific/detailed instructions on how to use them. I know nothing about them.

It's very late here (or early, depending upon your perspective ), so I will check for responses several hours from now. I am going to sleep now. Good night and thank you in advance for the help.

How do you /can you/ disable it?

I think you've shown the dialogue where you could remove it as a feature. I strongly suggest you don't- that's the wrong approach to the underlying problem.

to prevent it from popping up when the computer is started
That's odd. Please post a screenshot or photo. Seems you have an unwanted startup. You should be able to disable that once you know the source, which might be shown in your task manager startup list, or could even be a scheduled task.

To post a screenshot please use the icon above your post with tooltip 'Insert Image'.

If that's the irritant, it's not behaviour I recognise, so should be possible to solve.

    Version of Powershell:
    Ignore the strange name
    Page not found - Winaero

    Mine's 5.1.18362.628 on 1903.
I'd guess that Powershell 2 listed in the CPanel is an oversight. Remember MS is focussing on moving things to Settings.

What you are seeing is not the existence of powershell but a fault in something that is running when you start your computer and that something happens to be running in powershell.

Check your startup folders & check Task mgr Startup tab as the initial steps in finding out what is going on.
    "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"
    "%UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"

The start menu may display powershell and you may be used to command prompt.
If that is the situation this is a tutorial to make changes:
Show Command Prompt or Windows PowerShell on Win+X menu in Windows 10

Also see the related tutorial section in this tutorial:
Open command window here as administrator - Add in Windows 10
