If you mean that upgrade path literally, then that's a pretty neat trick. The furthest back I've successfully upgraded from was XP.

I guess though that you mean you jumped from a '98 machine to a new W10 one. That's quite a 'culture shock' but we're here to answer any questions you may have.

Thanks Bree! Yes, that would be a feat. Somehow I don't think the PII w/16mb RAM would be able to boot the installer let alone run Win10.

I've used everything between 98 and 10... I just never had the need for a new desktop until now. Work allocates me a new laptop every 3-4 years, so it'll be nice to not have to rely on those for my personal projects.
